The Breakfast and Photo with Santa is an annual holiday tradition exclusive to Mount Rainier residents, held every 2nd Saturday of December at the Mount Rainier Nature Center.

This festive event brings joy to local families as children and youth enjoy a magical morning with Santa. Participants take part in arts and crafts activities, enjoy a light breakfast to take along, and receive free toys to celebrate the season. Each family receives a complimentary professional photo with Santa, delivered via email following the event.

A beloved Mount Rainier tradition, this event continues to spread holiday cheer and create lasting memories for families year after year.

Breakfast and Photo with Santa 2025 (Registration Closed)

The City of Mount Rainier will host the Breakfast and Photo with Santa on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mount Rainier Nature Center. 

  • Registration is required to participate in this event.
  • Enjoy a come-and-go experience—visit anytime between 10 AM and 12 noon.
  • Meet Santa for a festive photo session.
  • Participate in arts and crafts while waiting for your photo session.
  • Kids will receive free toys and a light breakfast to take along. (Children must be present to receive a gift.)
  • Each family will receive one complimentary professional photo with Santa, delivered via email the following week. (Please keep in mind that a line is expected for photos.)
