The Department of Economic Development’s Wayfinding Signs Project is now completed. The project funded through a grant by the State of Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, was designed to guide residents and visitors alike, towards key destinations in the City’s business district. These include restaurants, the business shopping district, art studios, the library, the police department, and the transit center, facilitating easy exploration of the city and arts district's offerings.
The colorful designs were strategically installed along Rhode Island Avenue. It will not only serve as a navigational tool but also aim to support local businesses by attracting more visitors and activities to our downtown area.
The project is part of the City’s multi-phased revitalization plans to promote local economy and enhance the City's downtown core.
