The City of Mount Rainier will honor its veterans with a special Veterans Day Flag Ceremony and Brunch on Tuesday, November 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The celebration will recognize and show appreciation for the veterans residing in the City.
The ceremony will be led by Mayor Celina Benitez and attended by state, county, and local officials. Dr. Tiffany Daniel, a 27-year Army veteran, bestselling author, fitness instructor, talk show host, senior information specialist, and tireless advocate for veterans’ wellness, will serve as this year’s featured speaker. Dr. Daniel previously delivered an inspiring address at last year’s event and returns to share her insights and experiences with the community.
Dr. Daniel’s distinguished military career includes service in Germany, Panama, and the Pentagon. Today, she actively participates in organizations supporting veterans and serves as Chaplain for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, focusing on helping veterans and their families transition successfully to civilian life while promoting the holistic well-being of mind, body, and spirit.
Veterans residing in Mount Rainier are invited to RSVP to attend this meaningful celebration.
