The City of Mount Rainier’s Halloween spirit will be on full display as the community gathers for the annual Halloween Parade and Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 25, at 5:30 PM. This beloved event brings residents, families, and friends together for a spooktacular evening showcasing the City’s Halloween spirit, creativity, and community.
The parade will kick off at Richardson Park, travel left on Varnum Street, then left on 34th Street, and conclude at the Thomas S. Stone Elementary School parking lot, where the City of Mount Rainier Police Department’s Trunk or Treat festivities will take place.
To ensure everyone’s safety, temporary street closures will be in effect between approximately 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM as the parade marches to the school. The following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic during this time:
- Richardson Park area (Parade starting point)
- Varnum Street
- 34th Street
Motorists are encouraged to plan and use alternate routes while the parade is in progress.
