The City of Mount Rainier's street tree maintenance will begin on Monday, February 19, weather permitting, as part of ongoing efforts to maintain the health of city trees and ensure safe clearance over streets, sidewalks, driveways, and homes. The work will be performed by Bartlett Tree Experts per city tree ordinance standards.

Additionally, PEPCO will perform tree maintenance in Mount Rainier this month. \To facilitate the work, the City asks residents to keep streets clear of parked vehicles in work areas while tree maintenance is ongoing.
