Following yesterday's snowstorm, icy road conditions are creating hazardous travel for commuters. To prioritize the safety of employees during these challenging weather conditions, all City Administrative Offices will be closed today, Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Trash Collection is canceled until Thursday due to inclement weather and closure of county facilities. Recycling collection will remain as scheduled for Friday.
The Mount Rainier Police Department and Public Works Department remain fully operational to respond to emergencies and snow removal.
The Public Works Department crew is hard at work continuing to plow roads for your safety. However, we strongly advise staying indoors and avoiding unnecessary travel during this time. For more information, please see the City’s Snow Removal Plan.
