The City of Mount Rainier is proud to announce the recipients of Round 2 of the Youth Scholarship Program. After extensive application, the Youth Scholarship Committee selected seven outstanding students based on their academic achievements, community involvement, and potential. 

Mayor Celina Benitez presented $3,000 to each recipient in a special award ceremony. This scholarship will help cover education-related expenses and support their future aspirations.

This Mount Rainier Youth Scholarship Program was introduced by Mayor Celina Benitez in 2018 while serving as a councilmember to support the City’s youth in their education. We celebrate these scholars and look forward to witnessing their continued success.
