The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is proposing safety improvements for Eastern Avenue, between 30th Street and Russell Avenue, following recent tragic accidents. While Eastern Avenue is under DC jurisdiction, Mount Rainier officials, including Councilmember Jarrett Stoltzfus, are working closely with DC counterparts to push for these critical changes.
