Work Session of the Mayor and Council to Be Held at Potts Hall Welcome Center

Mount Rainier News Posted on February 13, 2026

The City of Mount Rainier will hold the Mayor and Council Work Session in person on Tuesday, February 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bryan Knedler Council Chambers, located inside the newly renovated Potts Hall Welcome Center. This marks the first in-person Work Session since the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the pandemic in 2020, the City transitioned Legislative Meetings and Work Sessions into a virtual format to protect public health while maintaining access to public meetings. While renovations to Potts Hall were underway, the City continued hosting meetings online.

Now, with renovations complete and the Potts Hall Welcome Center officially open, the City welcomes residents back into this revitalized civic space. Residents are encouraged to attend the in-person meetings to be informed of the City’s policies, programs, and initiatives, provide public comment, and engage directly with the Mayor and Council.

The Mayor and Council hold Legislative Meetings and Work Sessions on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
