Eastern Avenue Northbound:

The traffic pattern has been shifted to three lanes approaching Rhode Island Avenue. 

• The left lane is designated for left-turning vehicles.
• The middle lane is reserved for vehicles traveling straight.
• The right lane is dedicated to right-turning vehicles.

After crossing the Rhode Island Avenue intersection, northbound traffic will merge into a single lane.

Eastern Avenue Southbound:

The traffic pattern has been shifted to three lanes approaching Rhode Island Avenue.

•  The left lane is designated for left-turning vehicles.
• The middle lane is designated for vehicles traveling straight.
• The right lane is dedicated to right-turning vehicles. 

Rhode Island Avenue Eastbound:

• The outer left lane is now designated only for vehicles turning left to Eastern Avenue.
• The middle lanes are dedicated to vehicles traveling straight through Rhode Island Avenue.
• The right lane is solely for vehicles turning right onto Eastern Avenue.

The intersection is managed by the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). Updates will be shared as soon as more information becomes available.
