MDOT SHA Road Resurfacing Projects in Prince George’s County

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will be conducting a number of road resurfacing projects in Prince George’s County. 

Project locations include:

  • MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) ramps at I-495 (Capital Beltway)
  • MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) from I-495 (Capital Beltway) to Dower House Road
  • MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) ramp at Marlboro Pike
  • MD 197 (Laurel-Bowie Road) at MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway)
  • MD 197 (Laurel-Bowie Road) from Evergreen Parkway to US 50 9Hanson Highway)
  • MD 223 (Woodyard Road) from Canberra Drive to Green Street
  • MD 223 (woodyard Road) from McCormick Road to Melwood Road
  • MD 382 (Croom Road) from Brandywine Road to US 301 (Crain Highway)
  • I-95 (Interstate 95) ramps at Ritchie Marlboro Road
  • Inner Loop/Outer Loop of I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 414 (St. Barnabas Road) and MD 5 (Branch Avenue)

According to MDOT SHA:

"Intermittent/Permissible Work Hours are Weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Additional work times and lane closures may be needed to complete all projects. Equipment used for construction may be disruptive."
