The Department of Economic Development is taking the lead on yet another initiative to breathe new life into our city's downtown core—the Wayfinding Signs Project. These signs will be strategically positioned to attract more visitors and residents to the City’s business districts within the downtown core. The business community played a crucial role by actively participating in the selection of the final signage design. The project is funded through a grant from the Department of Housing and Community Development. The Wayfinding Signs Project is an integral component of the City’s comprehensive multi-phase economic development programs to support Mount Rainier businesses.
