The City of Mount Rainier requests proposals from qualified companies to provide construction services for the City of Mount Rainier Memorial Park located at 3300 Rhode Island Ave. Mount Rainier MD 20712.

This Project is for the construction of a park, sidewalk improvements, benches, street and storm drain improvements, stormwater Best Management Practices, landscaping, and modifications to utility pads for the area shown on the plans. The Project will require traffic control, relocation of utilities, coordination with the City, County and State agencies, demolition and disposal of portions of Perry and 33rd street, sidewalk, and landscape debris. 

This Contract will be funded using grant funds from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development ("DHCD"), the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority ("MHAA") federal American Rescue Plan Act ("ARPA").

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the project site. Bidders are strongly urged to attend.

Bids will be received until 5:00 pm, Friday, March 31, 2023.

Bids will be opened publicly at the City of Mount Rainier, One Municipal Place at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 3, 2023.
