Tropical Storm Alert: Public Works to Distribute Free Sandbags until 5 PM

A potential tropical storm is approaching our area with forecasted conditions of sustained winds between 25 to 30 mph and potential gusts up to 60 mph. Periods of heavy rainfall, significant storm surge, and localized and coastal flooding are expected. This severe weather event is forecasted to impact our area from early Saturday morning through Sunday morning.

In preparation for this severe weather event, we want to ensure the safety of our community. The Public Works Department will be on standby to respond to any emergency situations that may arise.
