Mayor Celina Benitez declared November 26 as Small Business Saturday in the City of Mount Rainier, a national day of recognizing small businesses. The City encourages our community members to shop and dine locally this Holiday season and support our local businesses.
The City of Mount Rainier’s business districts on 34th Street and Rhode Island Avenue attract local and regional patrons. Rhode Island Ave (Route 1) remains a major historic gateway to Prince George’s County and the nation’s capital, Washington DC.
The City has 84 operating businesses.
