The bridge is scheduled to be completed and open to two-way traffic by November of this year, and the entire Levee Project is scheduled to be completed by early next year.
 
 The items that still need to be completed are:

• 34th Street: Storm drainage and connecting sidewalk from Arundel to Chillum
• Along Arundel: Final landscaping
• 31st Park Fencing
• 30th Street: Replacing water main & working on the levee
• Some trail pavement on the north side of the canal between 31st Street and Chillum (behind the Nature Center and the pool)
• East of 34th Street (Final work on levee):
  1. Paving the top of the levee as a trail
  2. Building a connecting path from the path along the NW Branch to the path on top of the levee (near the Brentwood public works maintenance yard)

Following the completion of the Levee Project, which will restore the road to its pre-construction condition, a follow-up project, which is currently in the design stages, will improve the streetscape through the installation of new sidewalks, new curbs, and green medians.
