News Archive Posted on May 14, 2021

Effective Monday, May 17, 2021 at 5:01PM, Prince George’s County will be lifting capacity restrictions on most business establishments and activities.

From County Executive Alsobrooks:

“We are now at a point where we can begin to safely to lift capacity restrictions for many of our businesses. I want to thank our business community for continuing to take the necessary precautions to keep residents and employees safe over this past year."

Most County businesses will be able to operate at full capacity with social distancing - maintaining six feet of distance between yourself and others (except for members of the same household) - and mask requirements still in place.

For more details, County Exec Alsobrooks' official press release is available online: English version / Spanish version.

A full list of updated guidelines, as well as a copy of the Council Resolution (CR-48-2021), will also be made available at mypgc.us/reopen.
