Man Sentenced to 32 Years in Federal Prison For Production of Child Pornography
Case Led by MRPD Criminal Investigations Division and FBI
The Mount Rainier Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Prince George’s County State Attorney’s Office’s work in the arrest and investigation of a Mount Rainier man led to his sentencing to 32 years in federal prison for production of child pornography.
Mount Rainier Police Department Lt. David Calloway, the Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division is the lead investigator of the case and sought justice for the two minor victims.
The sentence was announced on March 16 by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Erek L. Barron; Special Agent in Charge Thomas J. Sobocinski of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; Baltimore Field Office and Chief Linwood Alston of MRPD.
