The Department of Economic and Development will be offering scholarships to Mount Rainier residents who are current and aspiring entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneurship Scholarship Program's first cohort started in January. Classes for the second cohort will begin in June.
Courses include:
- Entrepreneurship 101
- Writing a Business Plan
- Small Business Marketing
- Financial Planning
- Access to Capital
- Project Management
Participants will also receive:
- 1 on 1 Counseling
- Business Development Support
- Custom Website (upon program completion)
