CITY OF MOUNT RAINIER LAUNCHES NEW INTERACTIVE WEBSITE

The City of Mount Rainier announces the launch of its new and enhanced website on July 3rd, addressing residents’ changing digital needs and keeping them informed.

The new upgraded website has new and enhanced features that will meet the digital needs of the Mount Rainier community:

• Online Payment: Community members can now pay online for requested services, permits and inspection fees, and other payments.
• Online Request Forms: Simplified forms for residents to submit various requests, streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.
• Agenda Center:  Easy access to meeting agendas and minutes, promoting transparency and engagement.
• Improved Navigation: Enhanced navigation based on best practices, making it easier for users to find information.
• Email and Text Notifications: Subscribers may opt for email and text notifications to receive alerts and information based on their preferences. Current website subscribers may update their preferences by visiting the new website.

“This new website is the result of the long-standing request from our community members to modernize the City’s digital service. We listened and the new website represents our commitment to providing more accessible and efficient online services to our community,” Mayor Celina Benitez said.

The 3-month project was led by the Communications Team and overseen by Mayor Celina Benitez and City Manager Kourosh Kamali. It was completed in collaboration with CivicPlus, a government website solutions company servicing 4000 local governments.
