The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (SHA) is updating the community on progress for the Pedestrian Safety Action Plan (PSAP) along a 3.5-mile segment of MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) between 52nd Avenue and Good Luck Road/Campus Drive in Prince George’s County. In December 2024, SHA held a public informational workshop at Bladensburg Elementary School, where attendees helped identify pedestrian, bicyclist, and roadway safety challenges. Using that input, the project team has begun developing potential safety improvements.
