The City of Mount Rainier offers a Property Tax Credit for eligible senior homeowners and veterans. Eligibility Requirements: - Homeowners must have resided in the same dwelling for at least 30 years.
- The dwelling must have a maximum assessed value of $700,000.
- The credit is available only for owner-occupied dwellings.
- A 20% credit on City property taxes is granted for 5 consecutive years.
- The credit is not available after the 5-year period.
