The 2025 City Election is set for May 5, 2025, offering all eligible Mount Rainier residents the opportunity to shape the future of our city. Who Can Register: Any resident of the City of Mount Rainier who is not eligible to vote in State and County elections but meets the voter qualifications set forth in Section 502 of the City Charter and applicable Charter Amendments may register with the Mount Rainier Board of Elections to vote in City elections. This includes: - U.S. citizens
- Legal permanent residents ("Green Card Holders") including holders of temporary visas (including, but not limited to: work visas, student visas, refugees, those with Temporary Protected Status), and those who do not have formal U.S. immigration status.
- Residents aged 16 and older
The Mount Rainier Board of Elections will hold Voter Registration Drives to assist residents with the registration process and to answer any questions about the electoral process. Dates: - Saturday, February 22 - from 9 am to 12 noon at Mixt Food Hall
- Thursday, February 27 - 6 pm to 7 pm at Thomas Stone Elementary School

CURBSIDE LEAF COLLECTION UPDATE

The Department of Public Works will resume curbside leaf collection on February 25, prioritizing areas with the highest accumulation to ensure efficient and timely service.
