Notice for Newton Street

Tomorrow July 24th and Thursday July 25th, a contractor will be performing utility locating operations along Newton Street between 34th Street and 37th Street. You may see some excavation and areas that are temporarily blocked off for safety. They will fill all holes and patch the roadway as the work is performed. This work is being done in preparation for the grant funded Newton Street – Green Street project. We thank you for your cooperation and patience as we move forward with this important project for the City and residents of Mount Rainier.
