It is the Mission of the Mount Rainier Police Department is to improve the quality of life for the residents of Mount Rainier through sensitive and effective service. This will be accomplished through Bureau-wide interaction in the community, with emphasis on promoting citizen involvement, and facilitating the constructive exchange of ideas and concerns.

The Mount Rainier Police Department has moved into the new millennium with an old approach of service and stewardship in facilitating the law enforcement and policing needs of the Mount Rainier citizenry.
