City Volunteers

Mount Rainier residents are very civic minded and are always ready to pitch in and help their government and community whenever possible. Following is a brief introduction of some of our city government volunteers.

Sandra Joseph, City Webmaster
Sandra Joseph is a 20-year resident of Mount Rainier, Maryland. Sandra built the City's first Website in the late 1990's and has worked steadily to maintain and improve it.

Juliellen Sarver, Tree Commissioner
Juliellen Sarver grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and moved to Mount Rainier with her husband and parrot in January 2004 after living in Washington, DC, for two years. She is trained as a landscape architect and city planner. She works as a city planner/urban designer for a consulting firm in Alexandria, Virginia. Juliellen enjoys gardening, riding her bike and learning languages.
