The Municipal Access Channel, Comcast channel 71 and Verizon channel 21, originate from Mount Rainier City Hall. Channel 71 and 21 serve as a "community bulletin board" with text messages about events and items of interest in the community. Mount Rainier City Council meetings are also broadcast live each month as well as played back on cable channel 71 and 21.

Mount Rainier City Council meetings are broadcast on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month beginning at 7:00 PM.

The City will also broadcast other special programming that it receives or produces, which is of interest to the community. Watch channel 71 and 21 for the playback schedule of City programming.
